The single-use adhesive pads provide clean acoustic and optical coupling of the sensors to the skin. Each single use pad can be placed on different regions of the body, such as the two hemispheres of the brain, or skeletal muscles. The adhesive can be placed on any clean, hairless, or shaved skin region.
